High Precision Solution for Match Grinding Applications

The latest automobiles with diesel engines have performance, excellent fuel efficiency, and low emissions. With electronic data management of the engine to optimize the combustion several critical parts require a manufacturing process to achieve a tolerance better than 2 microns.

The measuring gauges for these processes must have a total accuracy of some nanometers. This precision has already been reached in the metrology laboratory with temperature stability, but it is unusual to be applied to machine tools on the shop floor. A use of this special gauge is the grinding process of components for the diesel engine injection and hydraulic spools where matching tolerances are often of few microns

P7 electronic system is a unique multifunction process control device capable of managing the complete machine tool by means of Pre-Process, In-Process, and Post-Process measurement controls; machine vibration monitoring and automatic wheel balancing; optimizing the working and wheel dressing cycles.

This gauge can be connected to measuring heads with one or two transducers, measure a single post process static measurement, have a digital display with 5 controls and BCD or RS232 output.

Amplifier for Simple IN-Process Applications on Machine Tools

This product has been developed to meet the requests on machine tools related to simple In process applications.

The main advantages of the P1 are:

Analog meter for the In-Process use on a grinding machine.
Set-up, adjustement correction are performed by means of one selector and two push-buttons.

Reduced size
Display and operator adjustements are located in a compact panel that can be easily integrated in the control panel or a stand-alone version in its small cabinet that is easily assembled with either adjustable support or fixing bracket.
