Spindle Type ST Heads for High Speed Applications

The technology used on grinding machines, in particular with the use of CBN grinding wheels and electro-spindles, has allowed the circumferential speed to be increased up to 200-230 m/s.

Considering these requirements, Marposs has developed a spindle type (ST) balancer with coplanar weights suitable for high speed operation.
